Seoul Volunteer Center - Yogiyo Invites Citizen Ideas to Spread 'Value Delivery Culture'
Proposal for Citizen Volunteer Ideas Creating a Value Delivery Culture
Topics Addressing Safety, Respect, and Environmental Issues Arising from the Surge in Delivery Due to COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Volunteer Center announced on the 1st that, together with the delivery platform Yogiyo, it is conducting the first phase of a “win-win cooperation to create a healthy and safe delivery culture” by holding the “Value Delivery Culture Idea Proposal” until the 18th.
This proposal aims to identify social issues arising from the surge in food delivery due to COVID-19 together with citizens, and to have citizens directly suggest volunteer ideas that can solve these problems, planning a joint campaign with Yogiyo to create a value delivery culture.
Last year, the Seoul Volunteer Center also conducted various campaigns to activate citizen-led volunteering by encouraging citizens to identify and solve local problems during the COVID-19 crisis through the online volunteer platform Vsesang, which led to citizen participation and social issue awareness.
The theme of the Value Delivery Culture Idea Proposal, jointly conducted by the Seoul Volunteer Center and Yogiyo, is “Safety, Respect, Environment,” and anyone can freely submit ideas.
The idea submission period is until Sunday, July 18, and ideas can be submitted by selecting the proposal menu on the Seoul Volunteer Center Vsesang website. Related information can also be found on the Sonan-e Seoul contest page within Seoul city.
Participating citizens will receive mobile coupons prepared by Yogiyo upon selection, and outstanding proposals will be carried out as a joint campaign for the “Value Delivery Culture.” Additionally, citizens who help further develop proposed ideas through empathy and comments will also receive separate rewards.
