View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, and the Gyeongsang National University (GNU) Museum signed a business agreement on the 29th to revitalize their projects.
The agreement includes cooperation for smooth academic work such as joint research and personnel exchange, academic seminars, and cultural education, as well as the development of both institutions.
The signing ceremony was held simply at the Hapcheon Museum, where Cha Young-gil, director of the Gyeongsang National University Museum, and Jo Won-young, director of the Hapcheon Museum, met due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the first project of the cooperation, to pray for the registration of the Gaya Tumuli as a World Heritage site, artifacts such as the Phoenix Patterned Ring-handled Large Sword excavated from Okjeon M3 Tomb (Treasure No. 2042), gold earrings excavated from Okjeon Tomb No. 28 (Treasure No. 2043), and gold earrings excavated from Okjeon M6 Tomb (Treasure No. 2045), which are owned and managed by the Gyeongsang National University Museum, will be exhibited at the Hapcheon Museum.
