The signing ceremony, held the day before in the conference room of Gwanak-gu Office in Seoul, was attended by Sohn Tae-seung, Chairman of Woori Financial Group, Park Jun-hee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, and Oh Se-jeong, President of Seoul National University. They agreed to cooperate organically to discover and nurture startups, build venture startup infrastructure, and activate the Gwanak venture startup ecosystem.
According to this agreement, Woori Financial plans to open the 'Dino Lab 2nd Center' with an exclusive area of 890㎡ (approximately 270 pyeong) in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, in September. Dino Lab is a startup collaboration program that Woori Financial has been operating since 2016.
The Dino Lab 2nd Center will exclusively use the entire five-story building. Reflecting the opinions of Dino Lab resident companies, it will include multiple meeting rooms, independent office spaces, as well as a rooftop lounge.
In particular, Woori Financial plans to specialize Dino Lab, which was previously operated as a single program, by sector into the fintech-focused 'Seongsu Integrated Center' and the 'Gwanak 2nd Center' focused on new technology industries and startups such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and mobility.
