"I Decided to Knock on the Employment Door, How? With One 'Click'" Safety and Health Job Fair Held
KOSHA, '2021 Online Safety and Health Job Fair'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] I am knocking on the door of employment. Where? From the ‘bangguseok’ (one’s room).... An online recruitment platform connecting excellent companies and talents in the safety and health field is opening.
The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA, President Park Doo-yong) will hold the ‘2021 Online Safety and Health Job Fair’ from July 5 to 8 to create jobs in the safety and health sector and revitalize related industries.
This event will be held online (Job Fair website) to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Programs such as ‘Employment Special Lectures and Recruitment Briefings,’ ‘Video Interviews and Consultations,’ and ‘Mentor-Mentee Coaching’ will be conducted.
This year, the ‘Employment Special Lectures and Recruitment Briefings’ will start earlier than the main event, beginning on June 29.
In the employment special lectures, participants can learn about writing self-introduction letters and interview speech from professional instructors, and in the recruitment briefings, they can obtain hiring information from HR managers of organizations such as KOSHA, the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service, and the Korea Radioactive Waste Agency, and participate in real-time Q&A.
During the main event from July 5 to 8, programs such as video interviews and consultations with company recruiters, one-on-one mentor-mentee coaching where KOSHA staff share employment know-how with job seekers, and image consulting will be held.
Those wishing to participate can apply in advance through the Job Fair website.
Useful services for employment such as ‘Resume Photo Editing,’ ‘Employment Video Lectures,’ and ‘Recruiting Company Information’ will continue to be available through the Job Fair website until October.
KOSHA held the first-ever safety and health job fair in Korea in 2019, and over the past two years, 182 people have been hired by related organizations.
