On the 29th, Attorney Park Jun-young, a specialist in retrial cases, gives a special lecture titled 'Stories of People in Retrial Cases'... 'Differing Academy' conducted both online and offline
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seocho-gu District Office (Mayor Eunhee Jo) and Seocho Cultural Center (Director Kihyun Park) will hold the 'Seocho Cultural Center's Different Academy' at the Seocho Cultural and Arts Center on the 29th.
Co-hosted by Seocho-gu and Seocho Cultural Center, the 'Different Academy' is a program that invites experts from various fields such as arts, economy, and history to present high-quality humanities lectures.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, lectures were previously conducted online, but starting with this lecture, they will be held both online and offline while strictly adhering to quarantine guidelines.
The first in-person lecture of this year will feature attorney Junyoung Park, a specialist in retrial cases and the real-life model for the movie "Reexamination" and SBS drama "Fly, Gaechonyong."
The lecture, under the theme "Stories of People in Retrial Cases," will vividly share the stories of people who have lived with the pain of stigma for decades after being wrongfully accused, and further provide an opportunity to reaffirm the humanistic values that support our society and to reflect on and awaken to our lives.
