Senior co-representative Yang Tae-young said, "To develop Incheon, which has the image of a city caught between the metropolitan area and Seoul, it is necessary to transform it into an 'Asian economic hub city' where high value-added 4th industry flows by modernizing existing industrial complexes and utilizing the airport and port. This will not only revitalize the local economy but also create quality jobs for young people." He added, "We will unite our intentions for Incheon's future development centered on former leader Lee Nak-yeon."
At the special lecture after the inaugural general meeting, former leader Lee promised support for Incheon's development, including ▲ fostering high value-added industries by region such as the Songdo bio-industry cluster ▲ undergrounding the Gyeongin Expressway and Gyeongin Line railway ▲ expanding infrastructure for complex resorts and MICE industries and redeveloping the inner port of Incheon Port ▲ promoting urban regeneration projects in old downtown areas such as Dong-gu, Bupyeong, and Michuhol districts, and establishing smart services by sector.
