Distribution Industry, Unique Collaborative Products Are the 'Trend'... Targeting the MZ Generation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The distribution industry is fervently launching unique collaboration products to target the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), who seek new pleasures through consumption.
According to the industry on the 26th, Lotte Mart will exclusively release the collaboration product "Honey Butter V Chip," which allows customers to enjoy the rich sweet and salty flavor of Haitai Honey Butter Chip in the form of V-cut French fries. This product is a new frozen potato fry version of Honey Butter Chip, launched based on continuous customer demand for Honey Butter Chip.
Notably, it features the application of McCain's world-renowned frozen French fry "V-cut." V-cut refers to fresh potatoes cut in a V shape, which provides a larger frying surface area than regular fries, allowing the crispy taste to last longer. Additionally, the sweet and salty seasoning penetrates better into the grooves of the V-cut, enabling a richer taste of the original honey butter flavor.
7-Eleven plans to sequentially expand its lineup by releasing various types of ice cream such as bars and monaka using Jeju milk. On the 10th, 7-Eleven launched "Jeju Milk Parfait," which gained great popularity by surpassing the traditional ice cream leader Melona just one day after its release. This product is a parfait-concept ice cream inspired by the refreshing color of the Jeju sea. The bottom layer is a soda-flavored sherbet that delivers a cool and clean taste, while the top is finished with soft ice cream made from rich Jeju milk.
