Pulmuone Danone launches 'Greek' no-label product... saves 40 tons of plastic annually
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Pulmuone Danone, a yogurt specialist company under Pulmuone, announced on the 25th that it has launched the country’s No. 1 selling Greek yogurt, ‘Pulmuone Danone Greek,’ as a label-free product.
Considering both environmental protection and consumer convenience, Pulmuone Danone’s Greek yogurt has moved the mandatory product information from the label wrapped around the existing yogurt container to the top lid, removing the side label. By eliminating the product label, it is expected to reduce plastic usage by 40 tons annually. Additionally, there is no need to separate the label after consumption, making recycling easier.
This Greek label-free product is the first label-free yogurt product introduced by Pulmuone Danone. Starting with this launch, Pulmuone Danone plans to consecutively release label-free versions of its yogurt brands such as ‘Hankki Oat’ and ‘Oikos.’
