The Youth Startup Forum is an event hosted annually by Seoul City, Seodaemun-gu, Yonsei University Campus Town Project Group, and Ewha Womans University Campus Town Project Group to cultivate a startup mindset and promote startup activation among young people aspiring to start businesses. This year, the forum was held simultaneously online and offline with about 20 young participants at the UCU Lounge located in Seodaemun-gu, featuring special lectures by Choi In-seok, CEO of Leferi, and Lee Hana, CEO of Melixer.
CEO Choi In-seok delivered a candid story under the theme "From Student Entrepreneur to 10 Billion KRW Business Owner," sharing his journey from starting a business with no capital in 2013 to becoming a leader in the industry, offering realistic advice and know-how to those dreaming of entrepreneurship.
He emphasized, "What is most needed on the journey from zero-capital startup to generating sales of 10 billion KRW is not a 10 billion KRW investment, but a 100% investment of oneself," adding, "You must have a clear goal and vision and bet everything on your skills and results." He also advised, "Only entrepreneurs who charge forward with full effort and a proactive attitude can get on the path to success."
