Yangsan City Supports Disinfection and Cleaning Costs for 'Safe Restaurant' Designated Establishments
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 23rd that it will support disinfection and cleaning costs for restaurants designated as Safe Restaurants.
This project is being implemented with a budget of 60 million KRW to proactively and preemptively respond to COVID-19 and to establish a hygienic food culture.
The support target is businesses designated as Safe Restaurants by the city, with a maximum support amount of 1 million KRW per business, and there is a self-payment requirement of at least 10% of the total project cost.
Applications must be submitted to the City Hall Hygiene Division with the application form and required documents by July 9.
After document screening and on-site inspection to verify eligibility, candidates will be selected through deliberation. Selected businesses must complete disinfection and cleaning within two months and then apply for subsidy payment.

A Yangsan City official stated, “By supporting Safe Restaurants that citizens can use safely, we aim to enhance the value of Safe Restaurants and encourage more businesses to participate in the Safe Restaurant project.”
