On the 23rd, Namyangju City stated, "To demonstrate that ESG, with environmental innovation as the top priority, is no longer exclusive to corporations but can also be applied in the public sector, we held an outdoor concert titled 'Start! Namyangju ESG Administration' using Eco-pia Namyangju tents and camping chairs."
No banners or disposable products were used, and the signing of the agreement ceremony was conducted using tablet PCs, presenting a 'zero waste event' operation plan, adding significance for the environment.
The city announced policy projects fundamentally aligned with ESG, such as river garden projects, prevention of indiscriminate development, and ice pack reuse.
The event proceeded with the announcement of the environmental action agenda 'Promise 10,' followed by a private consignment agreement ceremony for the ice pack reuse project, and unveiled the slogan "Running with Namyangju Green."
Previously, among last year's policies, the 'Thank You Bus' won first place in the comprehensive category of the Sustainable Transportation City Evaluation Contest, and the 'Cheonghak Valley Resort' received the grand prize at the Local Government Excellent Policy Contest.
