ABL Life Launches 'Am-K Insurance' with Up to 15% Premium Discount
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] ABL Life announced on the 23rd that it has launched the 'ABL Health If More (THE) Better Cancer Care Insurance,' which provides coverage from cancer prevention to diagnosis and treatment, and offers up to a 15% discount on premiums based on health grades.
The main contract is non-renewable, reducing the burden of future premium increases. With the health grade application special contract, insured individuals can receive up to a 15% discount on both the main contract and optional special contract premiums according to their health grade discount rate.
Health grades are calculated from 1 to 9 based on various factors such as body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, urine protein, hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, liver function levels, cholesterol, number of medical institution visits, and smoking status. Health grades are automatically applied at the time of subscription, and if the health grade improves later, more premium discounts can be received.
Additionally, prevention is possible from pre-cancerous diseases through special contracts. By selecting coverage such as surgery for benign neoplasms of 12 major organs, thyroid needle biopsy pathological diagnosis, and prostate needle biopsy pathological diagnosis, coverage related to cancer precursor symptoms or tests can be obtained.
