[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong attended the high-level policy dialogue commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) held in Hanoi, Vietnam, and emphasized that the two regions must cooperate for post-COVID economic recovery and climate change response.

He also mentioned that South Korea will strive for the development of ASEM based on multilateralism and the strengthening of cooperation between Asia and Europe. Following the high-level policy dialogue commemorating ASEM's 25th anniversary, Minister Chung is scheduled to visit Singapore on the 24th and Indonesia on the 25th, respectively.
