GH, Idea Contest for Creating a Landmark in Yongin Platform City
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is holding a contest for ideas to create a landmark in Yongin Platform City until September 17.
This contest was planned to transform the Giheung and Suji districts of Yongin into a landmark of Yongin, and further into a place symbolizing Gyeonggi-do in the world.
The contest will evaluate entries by category, focusing on the artistic value, symbolism, and creativity of the ideas. A total of 10 winners will be awarded a total of 70 million KRW.
Lee Heon-wook, president of GH, emphasized, "Through this idea contest, we will take the lead in designing a new type of landmark in Platform City and making it a key hub city in the southern metropolitan area."
