KOTRA to Host 'Korea-China Economic Cooperation Forum' in Wuhan
'Korea-Hubei Future Cooperation Plaza' to be Held for Three Days Starting from the 23rd
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] KOTRA announced on the 21st that it will hold the 'Korea-Hubei Future Cooperation Plaza' in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, for three days starting from the 23rd.
Co-hosted with the Hubei Provincial Government, this event consists of ▲one-on-one consultations ▲seminars ▲CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. The one-on-one consultations will include about 40 Chinese companies from four key sectors that Hubei is focusing on fostering?information and communication technology (IT), medical, automotive, and environment?and 15 Korean companies. To provide various opportunities for Korean companies to interact with inland Chinese buyers, KOTRA recruited buyers not only from Wuhan but also from Zhengzhou in Henan Province and Changsha in Hunan Province.
Additionally, a seminar will be held jointly with the Hubei Academy of Social Sciences to discuss cooperation plans between Korea and Hubei Province. As a side event, social contribution activities will be conducted together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Wuhan. Domestic companies wishing to enter the inland Chinese market will participate by donating funds to low-income villages in Wuhan and donating items such as masks.
