View original image[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Jeonnam Muan-gun Veterans Organizations Federation (President Choi Seok-in) announced on the 21st that it held the president inauguration and retirement ceremony at the Veterans Hall on the 18th.
The event was attended by about 50 people including Kim San, Muan-gun Governor, Kim Dae-hyun, Chairman of the County Council, Lee Hye-ja, Provincial Assembly member, Park Il-sang, Director of the Central Association of Disabled Veterans, Lee Yeon-deuk, President of the Jeollado Federation of Veterans Organizations, heads and members of Muan-gun veterans organizations. The ceremony proceeded in the order of opening, national anthem, awarding of commendations, inauguration and retirement speeches, and mask handover ceremony.
At the commendation ceremony held in June, the month of national defense and veterans, nine national merit recipients were recognized for their exemplary contributions as model veterans and received commendations.
Outgoing President Park Jong-ul said, “I expect that newly appointed President Choi Seok-in will work hard for the harmony and development of the veterans organizations in the jurisdiction,” and added, “I wish all federation members good health.”
Newly appointed President Choi Seok-in said, “I sincerely thank President Park Jong-ul, who has devoted himself to improving the rights of veterans’ families and the development of the organization,” and added, “I will do my best to ensure that the veterans organizations federation continues to be loved by the residents.”

Meanwhile, the Muan-gun Veterans Organizations Federation consists of 1,042 members and represents organizations such as the Disabled Veterans Association, Bereaved Families of War Veterans Association, Widows of War Veterans Association, Meritorious Service Association, 6·25 War Veterans Association, Agent Orange Veterans Association, and Vietnam War Veterans Association. It contributes to fostering the spirit of national defense and spreading veterans culture.
