Oak Valley Presents 'Summer Noodle Promotion' Featuring Pyongyang Naengmyeon, Chogye-myeon, and Bingsu Soba...
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Oak Valley announced on the 21st that it will launch the 'Summer Noodle Promotion' to welcome the full summer season.
In the Summer Noodle Promotion, you can enjoy summer delicacies such as Pyongyang Naengmyeon, Chogye-myeon, and Oak Valley-style reinterpretation of Bingsu Soba. The Pyongyang Naengmyeon and Chogye-myeon use fresh noodles made by Oak Valley chefs who knead buckwheat flour and sweet potato starch to create chewy noodles.
At the club restaurant of Oak Valley CC, where the KPGA season opener was held, Pyongyang Naengmyeon is offered. The broth is made by boiling domestic fresh chicken and vegetables, mixed with dongchimi broth fermented with Jeju winter radish, bringing out the unique clean taste of Pyongyang Naengmyeon.
At Oak View, Oak Valley's casual restaurant, nutritious Chogye-myeon and unique Bingsu Soba are introduced. Chogye-myeon is a nutritious delicacy good for summer energy recovery, made with broth from domestic fresh chicken with the fat removed and chicken breast meat. Oak Valley's Chogye-myeon is garnished with homemade domestic young radish kimchi.
The newly launched Bingsu Soba at Oak View features crushed ice on top of buckwheat noodles. Unlike Panmomi, which is dipped in tsuyu, or cold soba served with broth poured over it, Bingsu Soba is eaten by pouring tsuyu sauce over the crushed ice covering the buckwheat noodles.
