Kakao Mobility Introduces 'Reservation Service' for Daeri and Venti
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kakao Mobility announced on the 21st that it will introduce a reservation service for 'Kakao T Daeri' and the premium van taxi 'Venti.'
Both general users and 'Kakao T Business' corporate members can use the service.
The Kakao T Daeri reservation service is only available when using the premium and standard services within the Kakao T Daeri service. It will first introduce the typical 'one-way single reservation' where users enter the departure and arrival locations.
Kakao Mobility plans to add features such as 'recurring reservations' that allow reservations in specific patterns, 'multiple reservations' that enable simultaneous booking of two or more calls, and 'time-based reservations' within the second half of the year.
Kakao T Venti will allow users to use the service according to their desired schedule through the reservation service. Users can choose between 'one-way reservation' based on travel sections and 'charter reservation' based on service usage time. It is available in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon based on the departure location.
Kakao T Daeri and Kakao T Venti can be reserved at least 1 hour and 30 minutes before the usage time, respectively. Reservations for Kakao T Daeri can be made up to one week in advance, and for Kakao T Venti up to two weeks in advance from the service usage date. For Kakao T Daeri, up to 10 calls can be reserved simultaneously per account, and Kakao T Venti allows up to 5 simultaneous reservations per account. Up to 5 waypoints can be set per call.
Once the reservation is completed, users can check the fare and real-time reservation status in the Kakao T app, and the fare will be automatically charged to the card registered in the Kakao T app.
