Yeongdeungpo-gu Recruiting 'Medical Tourism Promotional Video Creators'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Chae Hyun-il) is recruiting video creators to participate in the ‘Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone Promotional Video Content Contest’ until July 8.
The purpose is to discover creative and innovative promotional video content to widely promote Yeongdeungpo’s excellent medical services and differentiated tourism information both domestically and internationally.
Anyone, domestic or foreign, who is interested in Yeongdeungpo-gu’s medical tourism and can visit Yeongdeungpo-gu to shoot and produce videos can participate in this contest.
Individual participation is possible, as well as team participation with 2 to 4 members.
The application period is until July 8.
Applicants can submit their personal information, the URL of the page where the video produced by themselves (or their team) is posted, and SNS accounts including YouTube operated by themselves (or their team) by accessing online.
The district will evaluate applicants based on ▲production ability ▲popularity ▲shooting/editing skills ▲experience related to video production ▲willingness to participate.
On July 16, 15 teams (or individuals) will be announced as the final selected Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone video creators.
The selected video creator teams (or individuals) will first participate in the first workshop. In the workshop, they will learn detailed information about Yeongdeungpo medical tourism and the Smart Medical Special Zone, as well as promotional methods for medical tourism and guidelines for producing medical advertisements for foreign patients through lectures by external experts.
Afterwards, through a second workshop for individual meetings with partner organizations, they must submit a synopsis for video production by August. Finally, they must complete a video introducing Yeongdeungpo-gu’s medical tourism and the Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone to foreigners, with a length of about 2 to 5 minutes, by September 10.
The district plans to select and award 7 outstanding works from the final submitted videos in October. Awarded teams will receive certificates and cultural gift certificates worth 1 million KRW for the grand prize team, 500,000 KRW each for two excellence award teams, and 300,000 KRW each for four encouragement award teams.
The winning works will be posted on the official SNS of Yeongdeungpo Smart Medical Special Zone, such as Weibo and Facebook.
They will also be used in future events such as Yeongdeungpo medical tourism briefings and forums.
