According to Korail on the 19th, at around 10:48 PM on the 18th, the ITX-Saemaeul train heading to Busan collided with a wild boar between Chupungnyeong Station and Gimcheon Station on the Gyeongbu Line.
Due to this accident, an abnormality occurred in the train's braking system, causing the train operation to be temporarily suspended. Korail moved the stopped train to Chupungnyeong Station using another locomotive and arranged for passengers to transfer there.
There were a total of 213 passengers at the time, and they were able to transfer 2 hours and 35 minutes after the train stopped.
