View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] On the afternoon of the 18th, Lim Hye-sook, Minister of Science and ICT, held a meeting with Ville Skinnari, Minister for Development Cooperation and Trade of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss mutual cooperation in 6G development.
According to the Ministry of Science and ICT, this meeting was an opportunity to share current issues in science, technology, and information and communication policies between the two countries and to explore future cooperation directions.
Minister Lim explained to Minister Ville Skinnari South Korea's research and development investment directions, the Digital New Deal, the national AI strategy, and the current status of 5G promotion, and the Ministry of Science and ICT reported that they also had a free conversation about the necessity of mutual cooperation in the 6G field.
