Jeju Fire Station Conducts Fire Water Supply Securing and Fall Accident Response Training
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Kim Youngho) announced on the same day that from the 10th to the 17th, they conducted fire water supply training and ship fire fall accident response training at Sasu Port.
This training was conducted to strengthen response capabilities in the event of a ship fire and to handle emergencies involving fire suppression personnel, with 63 participants including new firefighters and staff.
The training included securing fire water using seawater and spraying after seawater absorption, as well as underwater adaptation training for self-contained breathing apparatus assuming a scenario where a fire suppression team member falls into the sea during ship fire suppression.
