Namwon-si Conducts 'Human Rights Education' for Public Officials
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-kwon] Jeonbuk Namwon City (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 17th that it conducted human rights education for public officials at the city hall auditorium.
The city conducts annual human rights education for employees to strengthen the human rights administrative capabilities of public officials, as the role of local governments in spreading a culture of human rights respect within the local community has become increasingly important.
This education session was held in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines and featured Lee Sang-jae, a human rights expert lecturer from the Daejeon Chungnam Human Rights Solidarity, focusing on understanding human rights and enhancing human rights sensitivity.
