[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Three workers were injured when formwork collapsed at a sabangdam construction site in Chungju, Chungbuk.
According to the fire authorities on the 16th, at around 11:30 a.m., the formwork at the sabangdam construction site in Yeongjuk-ri, Angseong-myeon, Chungju City, collapsed, causing soil and debris to flow down.
As a result of the accident, two workers sustained serious injuries and one worker sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
It was reported that they were buried under the structure and soil when the formwork collapsed while they were pouring concrete at the site.
