Gwangju Seo-gu Conducts Special Safety Inspections at Building Demolition Sites
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Seo Dae-seok) announced on the 16th that it recently conducted a special safety inspection to prevent safety accidents in advance at large construction sites and building demolition sites within the district.
The safety inspections conducted from the 10th to the 12th covered a total of 151 locations, including 129 buildings reported or permitted for demolition since the enforcement of the "Building Management Act," 14 large construction sites, and 8 apartment complexes.
This safety inspection focused on preventing safety accidents by checking ▲ the safety status of demolition sites ▲ compliance with demolition plans ▲ structural safety reviews ▲ inspection of the surroundings of construction sites ▲ and confirmation of ground subsidence conditions.
As a result of the inspection, minor issues were immediately corrected on-site, and administrative actions will be taken if violations of related regulations such as the "Building Management Act" are detected.
