According to Paju City on the 16th, the 'Sindosi~Seolmun Road' was constructed with a total project cost of 44.8 billion KRW, spanning a total length of 1.6 km and a width of 24 meters. Construction started in November 2019, and it is scheduled to open at midnight on the 17th.
With the opening of this road, it connects Sangjiseok-dong to Goyang City's Seolmun IC, eliminating the inconvenience of having to detour for more than 20 minutes to use the Seoul~Munsan Expressway.
In particular, Unjeong New Town had severe traffic congestion and frequent safety accidents due to a rapid increase in traffic volume, making traffic improvement necessary.
