[Photo] Korea Forest Service Breaks Ground on Cheorwon Inter-Korean Forest Cooperation Center
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 15th that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the 'Cheorwon Inter-Korean Forest Cooperation Center' in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province. The center is scheduled to be completed by December next year, equipped with multifunctional facilities such as an intelligent (smart) nursery, forest pest monitoring, diagnosis and research facilities, and integrated forestry and agriculture management, in preparation for the full-scale forest cooperation between South and North Korea.
