[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam held a regular briefing session on the morning of the 15th, listening to reports on departmental current projects such as the 'Operation of the Southern Region Rural-type Gyotong Model and the Plan to Reduce the Number of Hapcheon Happy Taxi Runs' and 'Onion and Garlic Price Trends,' as well as the 'Major Administrative Plans for June.'
At the meeting, council members requested, "Please carefully review the changes in the number of Happy Taxi operations through thorough analysis of the transportation inconveniences faced by residents and difficulties encountered by related industries due to the reduction of Happy Taxi services."
They also demanded, "In determining onion and garlic prices, actively strive to more broadly reflect the opinions of producers, the farmers, so that it can lead to increased farm income, and prepare measures to enhance farmers' utilization of distribution facilities in production areas such as cold storage warehouses."
