Man in 30s Arrested for Wielding Pen at Staff During Courtroom Disturbance
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A woman in her 30s who assaulted a court employee out of dissatisfaction with civil complaint handling at the Seoul High Court was arrested by the police.
According to the police on the 15th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul has arrested and is investigating Ms. A on charges including obstruction of official duties.
Ms. A is accused of assaulting a court security management staff member around 2 p.m. the previous day by hitting the employee's face and arm and stabbing the chest with a pen. The assaulted employee reportedly sustained only minor scratches.
Ms. A is also charged with causing a disturbance by refusing to disclose her personal information and continuously shouting even after being arrested in flagrante delicto.

A police official stated, "We are considering applying for an arrest warrant to prevent further damage."
