NH Savings Bank Donates 20 Million KRW to NongHyup Startup Farm Support Center Fundraising

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] NH Savings Bank announced on the 15th that it has donated a public interest fund to the Nonghyup Startup Farm Support Center as part of Nonghyup Financial ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities.
On the previous day, CEO Choi Kwang-soo visited the Nonghyup Startup Farm Support Center in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, and donated 20 million KRW to support the cultivation of startup farms. After the donation ceremony, he also spent time communicating with representatives of the youth farmer cadet school trainees.
Since 2017, NH Savings Bank has been allocating 0.1% of the sales amount from the special sale of the Rural Love Fixed Deposit to a fund for farmers. The raised funds are donated annually to organizations that promote the welfare of farmers and the development of rural areas.

CEO Choi emphasized, “I hope this will contribute to practical support projects for startup farmers, such as initial farming settlement, brand design and commercialization, and market support,” and added, “We will set an example in practicing ESG management through various social contribution activities.”
