According to Samhwa Food on the 13th, as a local company established in 1953 and approaching its 70th anniversary, it plans to launch a scholarship foundation for community return projects around July.
The Samhwa Food Scholarship Foundation will provide scholarships and educational programs to nurture outstanding talent for the youth of Daegu. The establishment and operation of the scholarship foundation will be supported and managed with a portion of the profits generated from Samhwa Food’s corporations.
A Samhwa Food official stated, "As a local company, we judged that the best way to repay the love of the local residents is to help nurture local talent," adding, "We hope that the establishment of the scholarship foundation will achieve significant results in fostering a large number of local talents."
