According to the police on the 11th, the Security Investigation Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency carried out a search and seizure at the Samyang International office building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, the previous day and secured related materials.
Samyang International is reportedly accused of stealing trade secrets through a former employee of the competitor pest control company Sesco (violation of the Act on the Prevention of Unfair Competition and Protection of Trade Secrets). On the same day, the police also conducted a search and seizure at the home of former Sesco employee A in Gangdong-gu.
