Central donates 180 million won to create a 'Safe Playground' in Children's Park
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do signed an agreement on the 10th with Central, Changwon City, Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, and Save the Children for the project "Creating Safe Playgrounds to Guarantee Children's Right to Play."
This agreement was promoted with the purpose of creating safe playgrounds for children following the donation of 180 million KRW to the local community by Central, an automobile parts manufacturer.
Gyeongsangnam-do and Changwon City will provide administrative support such as recommending playground project sites, and the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea will oversee the management of the donation funds.
Save the Children will directly undertake the detailed tasks of creating safe playgrounds.
The "safe playground" will be established in a children's park located in Sapa-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon City.
In particular, children and residents will directly participate in the design to enhance the effectiveness of the project.
Chairman Kang Gicheol expressed, "This project is a resident-participatory initiative, and I thank the related organizations and Central for their efforts to promote community welfare."
