KOTRA Hosts 'K-Move Tech Talent Career Fair' in Silicon Valley, USA
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] KOTRA held an 'Online Career Fair' on the 10th to assist young people aspiring to work in Silicon Valley, USA, with their job search activities.
This event was jointly hosted by KOTRA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, consisting of a job briefing session and job counseling session. The job briefing session, conducted as a webinar (web + seminar), featured current employees at various levels working as developers, HR managers, or corporate heads at Google, Lyft, SK Hynix, and Samsung Biologics, who explained the talent profiles desired by Silicon Valley and the companies' hiring processes.
For 11 startups in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), software (S/W), mobility, and biotechnology seeking to hire Korean talent, KOTRA has conducted numerous recruitment interviews since April through job seeker recruitment and preliminary document screening.
