Lotte Card Launches 'Roca in Busan', a Specialized Card for Busan and Gyeongnam Regions
Shopping, Transportation, and Dining Discounts Offered for Customers in Busan and Gyeongnam Regions
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Lotte Card announced on the 9th that it has launched a region-specific card, 'Roca in Busan,' to help customers in the Busan and Gyeongnam areas manage their card usage wisely.
This card is an additional product in Lotte Card's main product lineup, the Roca series, offering shopping, transportation, and dining discount services available in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions.
First, as a region-specific service, it provides a 10% discount up to KRW 30,000 per month when paying at outlets (Lotte, Shinsegae), IKEA, and marts (Lotte Mart, E-Mart, Top Mart, Mega Mart, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart) located in Busan Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangnam-do. Additionally, it offers a 30% discount up to KRW 10,000 per month on toll fees for paid roads such as highways, bridges, and tunnels in the Busan and Gyeongnam areas, as well as nationwide public transportation payments (airport buses, airport railroads). Furthermore, as a daily discount service, it provides a 5% discount up to KRW 5,000 per month when paying at restaurants and cafes nationwide.
This card can be issued by selecting it as one of the Roca Four Cards when issuing a Roca series card, with an annual fee of KRW 20,000 for both domestic-only and international versions.
A Lotte Card official stated, "We included useful customized services for customers living in the Busan and Gyeongnam areas so they can conveniently enjoy card benefits," adding, "In particular, the card design features a seagull, the symbolic bird of Busan, on the back of the card to add a special touch."

Meanwhile, the Roca series is a product launched by Lotte Card as the first in the industry to apply the 'Set Card System,' and it has received a positive response from customers with 700,000 cards issued within nine months of its release.
