Teaching Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Airway Obstruction Emergency Care at Childcare Facilities in Yeosu Area
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Yeosu Aviation Unit of the West Sea Regional Maritime Police Agency (Chief Yoon Byung-doo) announced on the 7th that it conducted first aid training at social childcare facilities in the Yeosu area on the 5th.
About 50 people, including childcare facility teachers, operation managers, youth, and children, attended the training, which covered CPR and emergency first aid for airway obstruction.
The Yeosu Aviation Unit provided safety education focused on everyday life safety that children commonly encounter, while emphasizing training for teachers and youth on how to calmly respond in emergencies and improve initial first aid skills.
This training, requested by childcare facilities following a Children's Day sharing event on the 1st of last month, was conducted under strict quarantine measures such as mask-wearing and social distancing to prevent COVID-19 infection.
