Humedics Appoints Executive Director Kim Nam-mi as New Factory Manager
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Humedix announced on the 7th that it has appointed Kim Nam-mi, former Head of Production at Huons, as the new factory manager.
Factory Manager Kim is an expert in pharmaceutical production with over 20 years of experience in drug manufacturing and process management. Born in 1970, he graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Ajou University and worked at Dongwha Pharm, United Pharm, Medica Korea, before joining the Huons Group in 2004.
He led the establishment of a smart factory and the introduction of automated production systems at the Huons Jecheon plant. At Huons' Chinese joint venture, Beijing Huonland Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., he was in charge of overall management, establishing a disposable eye drop production line and advanced production systems.

Factory Manager Kim said, "As the overall manager of Plants 1 and 2, I will devote my accumulated professional knowledge and experience to ensure that Humedix's new strategic businesses, such as the eye drop CMO business and vaccine and biopharmaceutical CMO business, stabilize and get on track."
