Deloitte Anjin and Listed Companies Association Hold Webinar on Tax Management in the Post-COVID Era
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Deloitte Anjin Accounting Corporation announced on the 3rd that it will hold an online tax management seminar on global mobility in the COVID-19 era in 2021 for members of the Korea Listed Companies Association.
This online seminar was conducted entirely in a recorded format to comply with government quarantine guidelines considering the COVID-19 situation. The lecture videos will be available for viewing from the 7th on the websites of the Korea Listed Companies Association and Deloitte Anjin.
Following the first seminar held in February, this seminar was also promoted as part of the "Joint Business Agreement on Internal Accounting Control System" signed by the two organizations to support corporate accounting and tax personnel, including support for the operation of the internal accounting control system.
This second online seminar addressed specific cases regarding global mobility tax issues, transfer pricing and tax management strategies, customs administration trends, and appropriate response measures in response to the rapidly changing global business environment due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation.
The seminar begins with a presentation on "Post Covid-19 Transfer Pricing Strategy" by Partner Lee Yongchan of Deloitte Anjin. Partner Lee will provide detailed explanations on tax issues related to transfer pricing that multinational corporations will face after COVID-19, including response strategies from the perspectives of international taxation standards such as the OECD and domestic tax laws.
Following this, Partner Seo Minsu of the Tax Advisory Headquarters will explain global trends in overseas personnel dispatch in the new normal era and major expected global mobility tax issues after COVID-19. Partner Yoo Junggon of the Tax Advisory Headquarters will cover new trends in customs administration and response measures that companies should consider accordingly.
