An Octogenarian Arrested for Killing Ex-Wife on the Street Over Property Dispute
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] An man in his 80s was arrested for stabbing his ex-wife to death with a weapon during a property dispute.
According to the court on the 3rd, Judge Lee Se-chang, who is in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, issued an arrest warrant for Choi Mo (83), who is accused of murder, saying there is "a risk of flight."
Choi is accused of arguing with his ex-wife, a woman in her 70s identified as A, on the street in front of a villa in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, around 8:50 p.m. on the 31st of last month, and stabbing her with a weapon he had prepared in advance, causing her death.
