Ministry of Education Holds Forum on Expanding Student Participation in School Management

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] The Ministry of Education announced that on the 3rd, it will hold a joint forum at the Korea Educational Facilities Safety Institute in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, together with the offices of National Assembly Education Committee members Kang Deuk-gu and Park Chan-dae, and the office of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee member Jang Kyung-tae, to discuss 'Expanding Student Participation in School Management.'
The forum's topic is to include student representatives as members of the School Management Committee and to legislate the student council. Lee Soo-kwang, Director of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, who is in charge of the presentation, will discuss school democracy, the current state of student participation, and legislative tasks.
