According to Seoul City on the 2nd, the city announced that it plans to conduct tests using self-test kits for 7 weeks from the 4th to the 23rd of next month for dormitory residents and staff of 19 schools that wished to participate in the self-test kit pilot project. A total of 5,458 people are targeted, and they will be tested with self-test kits upon entering and leaving the dormitories.
Accordingly, on the 1st, Seoul City conducted training with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education regarding the use of self-test kits. A Seoul city official explained, "Through the pilot project targeting dormitory schools, Seoul will detect confirmed cases early and prevent cluster infections in schools."
