OB Beer Launches Craft Beer Collaboration Brand 'Korea Brewers Collective'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] OB Beer announced on the 1st that it will newly launch a craft beer collaboration specialty brand called 'Korea Brewers Collective (hereinafter KBC)'.
KBC was created with the purpose of providing new consumer experiences in line with the increasingly diverse craft beer trends and contributing to the expansion of the domestic craft beer category. OB Beer's new business team, the Craft & Specialties Team, plans to develop various collaborative craft beers under the 'KBC' brand and contribute to expanding product diversity within the domestic craft beer market.
KBC will engage in joint activities with various craft beer experts based on the expertise and infrastructure of OB Beer’s Brewing Technology Institute and the craft beer specialized facilities at the Icheon plant. The KBC brand differentiates itself from contract brewing (OEM), which uses other companies' recipes or produces products on behalf of other manufacturers.
