[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 31st, Cha Hyun-il, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, visited the site of the Yangpyeong Station Resident Priority Parking Lot, scheduled to open on June 1st, and discussed the status of the parking lot construction with officials from the Facilities Management Corporation and local organizations.
The Yangpyeong Station Resident Priority Parking Lot was created by utilizing a vacant lot near Yangpyeong Station that had been left unused for a long time after the closure of a junkyard. Through continuous consultation and communication with the landowners, a total of 161 parking spaces were newly established.
