Actor Park Yong-gi Booked for Hitting Pedestrian While Drunk Driving... License Cancellation Level
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Actor Park Yong-gi (59) caused an accident by hitting a pedestrian while driving under the influence.
On the 31st, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that Park was booked for violating the Road Traffic Act for drunk driving and the Special Act on the Treatment of Traffic Accidents.
Park is suspected of hitting a pedestrian crossing the crosswalk while making a right turn toward the southern end of Jamsil Bridge at the Jamsil Station intersection in Songpa-gu at around 12:23 a.m. that day.
Park's blood alcohol concentration was found to be above 0.08%, the level for license cancellation. The pedestrian involved in the accident was reported to have sustained minor injuries.

Meanwhile, Park was previously sentenced to 8 months in prison with a 2-year probation in 2011 for marijuana smoking charges.
