Armed Gunman Opens Fire in Florida, USA... 2 Dead, Over 20 Injured (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] A shooting incident by armed assailants in Miami, Florida, USA, resulted in 2 deaths and more than 20 injuries.
According to Miami police and foreign media on the 30th (local time), the shooting occurred early that morning at a commercial facility near northwest Miami, where several sponsors were waiting outside the venue in preparation for a concert.
Miami police stated in a press release that three armed assailants approached the scene in a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and indiscriminately opened fire on the gathered people before fleeing.
When the police arrived, 2 people were already dead, and more than 20 injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. At least one of the injured is reported to be in critical condition.
