152 Seoul COVID-19 Cases Confirmed by 6 PM

This number is 31 fewer than the 183 cases reported during the same time frame the previous day and 10 fewer than the 162 cases reported on the same day last week (22nd). The total number of cases for the entire day was 194 on the 28th and 181 on the 22nd.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 43,779. The total number of cases for the day will be compiled as of midnight on the 30th and announced in the morning.
Over the past two weeks (May 14?28), Seoul has averaged 200 confirmed cases per day, with 31,164 people tested. The average positivity rate stands at around 0.6%.
The daily case count dropped to 138 on the 24th (Monday), influenced by a decrease in testing over the weekend, then sharply increased to 262 on the 25th, marking the highest number in 139 days since January 6 (297 cases). From the 26th to the 28th, the numbers decreased consecutively to 218, 214, and 194 cases.
Recent daily testing numbers in Seoul showed a decrease over the past weekend, with 23,392 tests on the 22nd and 17,640 on the 23rd, but fluctuated slightly on weekdays with 38,579 tests on the 24th, 35,428 on the 25th, 35,166 on the 26th, 33,986 on the 27th, and 35,213 on the 28th.
