Confirmed No Suspicious Cases After Reviewing Real Estate Transaction Details of 1,481 People Including 488 Public Officials and 993 Family Members
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] A full-scale investigation into real estate speculation targeting public officials and their families in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, found no suspicious cases.
Sancheong-gun announced on the 28th that after reviewing the real estate transaction details of 1,481 people, including 488 public officials of grade 7 or higher and 993 family members, from early April to the end of May, there were no illegal transactions using insider information.
The investigation sites included seven locations: ▲ Sancheong Hanbang Anti-aging General Industrial Complex ▲ Sangbiryang Hwahaeng Agricultural and Industrial Complex ▲ Buri Residential Land Development Base Maintenance Project ▲ Hajung District Urban Development Project ▲ Buri District Land Development Project ▲ Sancheong Oksan Public Rental Housing Project ▲ and Teukbyeol District Development Project.
The county collected consent forms for the provision of personal information from the investigation subjects and conducted the investigation using the Real Estate Transaction Reporting Management System, among other tools. In particular, after confirming land ownership and real estate transaction details, an in-depth investigation was conducted into any illegal activities of the extracted subjects.
The investigation found no abnormal transactions, and no cases suspected of speculation using insider information were identified.
