Oranjeon Acquires Office Building Near Dangsan Station
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Orange Group announced on the 28th that it has purchased its headquarters building on the main road near Dangsan Station in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The purchased site is near the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Building, close to the Han River, and is located in the station area of Lines 2 and 9. The building, situated on a large rectangular site, will be used as the office for some of the group’s affiliates.
Orange Group operates in four sectors: platform, fashion, bio, and real estate development. The platform sector includes four platforms: Welfare Club, VIP Club, BENEFIT Club, and KKUDOK, as well as Purplex, an affiliated company that provides imported rental services such as the German home appliance brand Blomberg. The fashion sector is based on the sneaker brand Excelsior and operates sneaker and fashion apparel businesses. The bio sector includes brands such as Cheonnyeon Sunsu Red Ginseng, Hongasunsu Red Ginseng, and Organis. The real estate development sector includes Orange Tower.
Choi Byungmin, head of the platform sector at Orange Group, said, "We plan to house some affiliates and related companies in the purchased building to expand communication and maximize synergy effects among affiliates."
