Seoul COVID-19 Cases Reach 212 by 9 PM... 6 Fewer Than Previous Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Seoul City announced that the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was counted as 212 from 0:00 to 21:00 on the 27th, a total of 21 hours.
This is 6 fewer than 218 cases during the same time period the previous day, and 42 more than 170 cases on the same day last week, the 20th. The total number of confirmed cases for the entire day was 218 on the 26th and 172 on the 20th. Among these, the 20th saw a significant decrease in confirmed cases compared to usual due to a sharp drop in the number of tests conducted the previous day (the 19th, Buddha's Birthday, a public holiday).
Since the beginning of this month, Seoul's daily confirmed cases have generally followed a pattern of being in the 200s on weekdays, and dropping to the 100s on weekends or the day after public holidays when the number of tests decreases.
