Vaccinated USFK Personnel Allowed to Enter Bars Outside Seoul Metropolitan Area Starting Tomorrow
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] U.S. Forces Korea personnel who have completed COVID-19 vaccination will be allowed to enter bars outside the Seoul metropolitan area starting from the 28th.
The U.S. Forces Korea Command announced on the 27th via SNS that "fully vaccinated personnel will be allowed to visit bars or clubs in areas excluding the 2nd district (Seoul and the metropolitan area) from 6 a.m. on the 28th."
Vaccinated U.S. Forces Korea personnel may also visit gyms outside the base with permission. However, access to karaoke rooms, saunas, and bathhouses will continue to be restricted.
Since December 19 of last year, when the public health protection posture was raised to 'Charlie (C),' U.S. Forces Korea personnel have been prohibited from visiting domestic bars and similar establishments. Although the posture has been gradually lowered since February, bar access has remained restricted.
